A long flight
with high expectation
A sigh of satisfaction
on reaching my destination
A long line
to pass thru immigration
A lost luggage
filling me with frustation
A warm welcome
with a beautiful carnation
An explosion of feeling
peeking out of hibernation!


One visit a day
the power of relatives
One day at home
too much politics
One Wedding
struggled with inflicts
One shopping spree
strong dose of medics
Casual comments
ends in a fistfight
Cared to help out
suffered a frostbite
Cashed a gift check
shocked about the backbites
Camped out for a night
escaped a bullfight


A smell in the air
the unanounced rains
A city warm and Fair
as pretty as a dame
A shy hidden sun
tired and drained
A quick flight?
it was the champagne
A smoothe touchdown
signals my midbrain
A smile so lost
my face just regained
Got on to the highway
drove rather slow
Gazed at the trees
Covered with snow
My mind and heart
didn't feel any hollow
My face drew a smile
it had a special glow


I actually understood
what I have been missing
I am back home
and ready for Monday Morning!

Spring

The grass was spring green
Jumping squirrel was a pleasure to be seen
I wish I could leap
On the hay that is on a heap
Rest my head and fall asleep
Covering myself with a lavender creep
The droplets on the grass
Feels like the rains caress
All I need is a wineglass
And hope I am not alergic to crabgrass!
